GIMA Waste Solutions

Simplify waste management while respecting the environment

Treatment of Non-Organic Waste

A global approach for optimal valuation

At GIMA WASTE SOLUTIONS, a specialized department of the GIMA Group, we adopt a global and integrated approach to the management of non-organic waste. Our goal is to maximize its recovery and reuse, in accordance with the hierarchy of waste treatment methods. This involves first prioritizing reuse, then recycling, and only considering energy recovery for waste that cannot be reused or recycled. This approach is fully in line with the transition to a circular economy, where each resource is exploited to the best of its ability, in order to save raw materials and limit the impact on the environment.

Types of non-organic waste that can be recovered

We work on a wide range of non-organic waste, including:

GIMA WASTE SOLUTIONS is committed

Complete solutions, from diagnosis to valuation

Precise qualification of waste flows

Analysis and characterization of waste to identify its potential for reuse or recycling.

Implementation of suitable channels

Separation, sorting, preparation, repair, cleaning, grinding… Each step is optimized to allow direct reuse or transformation into recycled raw materials (RPM).

Valorization and reuse

Our solutions include the reuse of objects or materials after a simple preparation operation (checking, cleaning, repair), thus avoiding the production of a new object from virgin raw materials.

Recycling

Transforming waste into secondary raw materials helps limit the extraction of natural resources, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, water consumption and the energy needed for industrial production.

Energy recovery

For non-recyclable waste, we favour solutions such as the production of Solid Recovered Fuels (SRF). These partially replace fossil fuels in industries or heat networks, thus reducing dependence on non-renewable resources. In the case of remaining organic fractions, methanisation can be considered, in order to produce biogas and digestate that can be used in agriculture, although this process is mainly intended for biowaste.

Partnerships and circular economy

On the African continent, we have demonstrated our ability to provide concrete solutions that generate income and jobs. Our local partnerships, combined with a transfer of skills, have helped to structure viable sectors, promoting local economic development, environmental protection and improving living conditions.

An approach in line with the logic of a circular economy

Our approach is in line with French legislation and national waste recovery objectives, which encourage the reduction of landfilling and the increase in the recycling rate. By promoting the reuse, recycling, recovery of materials and the rational use of the energy contained in waste, we actively participate in the creation of a circular economy that benefits everyone. In this way, we contribute to:

With GIMA WASTE SOLUTIONS, recycle your non-organic waste by adopting a responsible, profitable and environmentally friendly approach. Together, let’s participate in building a more sustainable future.
